PresentationScreenWhat is Video Conferencing?
Video conferencing is a live, two-way electronic communication that permits two or more people in different geographic locations to engage in face-to-face audio and visual exchange.
Over 60% of face-to-face communication is non verbal; video conferencing lets participants interact as if they were in the same physical location even though miles separate them.
Businesses and individuals use video conferencing for meetings, depositions, interviews, seminars, classes, conferences, training, presentations—in the convenience of their hometown.

ConferenceScreenHow is Video Conferencing Used?
The legal profession, especially court reporters, have been quick to adopt video conferencing for remote depositions.
Human resources firms and executive recruiting firms are also dedicated users of video conference technology to get a sense of the person behind the resumé before making a critical decision.
Architects, teachers and trainers use video conferencing for presentations, classes and employee training sessions.
Video conferences can be recorded on VHS or DVD, and made available for those who may have missed the meeting or training session.

Why use Video Conferencing?
  • Time: One of the most valuable resources in a business is time. Executives and employees spend too much time traveling to remote locations for meetings. Video conferencing can bring the time, expense and the disruption of travel under control.
  • Savings: Video conferencing is not an "un-budgeted expense". Most corporations already spend thousands of dollars for travel and related expenses; video conferencing merely reallocates a fraction of those funds to a more economical option.
  • Convenience: In the time it takes to get to a distant location for your meeting, you can complete your video conference and be back at your office or on your way home.
  • Documentation: Your video conference can be recorded on VHS or DVD for a permanent record.

Give Video Conferencing a try!
Do a trial run. Choose a meeting next month that you would normally need to book distance accommodations to accomplish, and schedule your meeting via video conferencing instead.
