Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
This course is designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in prehospital and in-facility environments such as hospitals, clinics, dentist offices, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
The BLS Provider course has been updated to reflect the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR. The BLS Course replaces the BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS HCP).
