Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. This course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and prehospital settings. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.This course is designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in prehospital and in-facility environments such as hospitals, clinics, dentist offices, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.The BLS Provider course has been updated to reflect the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR. The BLS Course replaces the BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS HCP).

Classes with fewer than 5 students enrolled will be rescheduled.
A cancellation request received 5 or more business days prior to scheduled class is eligible for a refund minus a 5% administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to the course are subject to a $15.00 cancellation fee. Students who are a "No Show" to the course are not eligible for a refund. Textbooks are non-refundable.
BLS Provider Renewal Course
The BLS Renewal course is for current BLS providers who need to renew their BLS skills and BLS Provider course completion card. This course features accelerated content and is designed for learners with existing BLS knowledge. It teaches both single-rescuer and team BLS skills and includes rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants.Students must bring/show a current BLS completion card on the day of the course , and if expired must be within 90 days of expiration.

BLS Provider Original Course
The goal of the Basic Life Support Course is to train participants to save lives of victims in cardiac arrest through high quality CPR. The course is designed to teach healthcare professionals how to perform high-quality CPR individually or as part of a team. BLS skills are applicable to any healthcare setting. Students will learn rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants.
